2019 South Carolina Minority Health Summit
April 6 @ 8:30 am - 1:00 pmFree
On April 6th, 2019, the SC Legislative Black Caucus, along with The Columbia Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, will be hosting their Second Annual Minority Health Summit at Brookland Baptist Church located at 1066 Sunset Boulevard, West Columbia, SC 29169.
The theme of this year’s summit will be “Empowering Communities for Change.”
This event is designed to educate individuals on health issues affecting minority communities. The Minority Health Summit will allow attendees an opportunity to:
obtain FREE health screenings (while supplies last),
attend panel discussions on Health Equity, Chronic Diseases, and Emerging topics,
learn from well-known medical professionals,
and network with other community leaders and organizations.
Through this event, our hope is to offer healthy solutions, share resources, and empower those who are impacted by health disparities. In doing so we hope pave the way for a healthier South Carolina.
Health is Wealth- REGISTER TODAY!
