Five Years. Five Goals. One Clear Direction: The Alliance’s 2026–2030 Strategic Plan

The Alliance for a Healthier South Carolina has released its 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, outlining how the organization will strengthen its role in advancing better health across the state over the next five years.

The plan comes at an important point in the Alliance’s growth. For years, the organization has brought together leaders and organizations across sectors to share knowledge, build relationships, and address complex health challenges. The next chapter calls for an even stronger focus on turning that collective work into coordinated action and measurable results.

Five goals will guide the work through 2030:

  • Focus the Alliance’s efforts on a defined set of state health priorities.

  • Coordinate action across partners and communities.

  • Activate a network of partners contributing to priority efforts.

  • Measure progress through shared measures and stronger accountability.

  • Sustain the resources and operations needed to support strategic priorities and measurable progress.

Together, these goals sharpen how the Alliance will support statewide health improvement. The plan strengthens the connection between state priorities, local implementation, partner engagement, and shared measurement, while giving the organization a stronger framework for showing what progress looks like over time.

Implementation will happen in three phases: Establish & Align, Activate & Scale, and Sustain & Show Impact. This phased approach gives the Alliance room to build the right foundation, expand what works, and maintain momentum over the full five-year period.

The 2026–2030 Strategic Plan is a commitment to greater focus, stronger alignment, and meaningful progress for the communities the Alliance serves.
