Wednesdays, August 5 & 12
11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Participants must attend both sessions to complete the training and earn four CHW CEUs.

Community Health Workers serve as a vital bridge between the medical system and the community. This interactive training will help CHWs develop the confidence and practical skills to:

  • Listen for the concerns and experiences behind vaccine decisions

  • Respond without judgment or confrontation

  • Build trust and shared understanding

  • Navigate emotionally charged conversations

  • Help families make informed decisions

  • Move communities toward action that protects our children

The goal is not to win an argument. It is to preserve trust, create space for honest conversation, and help families protect the health of their children.

We are privileged to welcome Dr. Francine Bono-Neri, PhD, RN, APRN, PNP, FAAN, as a featured speaker. A pediatric nurse practitioner, trained sexual assault nurse examiner, researcher, and published author with over 32 years of clinical and academic experience, Dr. Bono-Neri is the Co-founder and President of Nurses United Against Human Trafficking, a global professional association dedicated to educating, equipping, and empowering healthcare professionals on anti-trafficking measures. In 2024, she was recognized at the United Nations, receiving both the Inspiring Global Nurse Award and the International Ceca Award for her advocacy work.
