COLUMBIA, S.C. The Alliance for a Healthier South Carolina congratulates Brannon Traxler, M.D. on being named Acting Director of the South Carolina Department of Public Health by Governor Henry McMaster.

Her leadership has supported efforts to strengthen prevention, improve health outcomes, and advance coordinated action around some of the state’s most pressing health priorities.
